Anyone who has adjusted a clutch pressure plate on a Triumph knows that it is part skill, part patience, and sometimes part magic. Having springs with uneven tension makes the job much harder.
All of the clutch spring sets that we sell are tested and matched so that they are as close as you can get. Sometimes untested springs can be off by as much as 25 percent!
Have some peace of mind when servicing your clutch that someone actually tested and matched your springs on a calibrated spring tester. For Pre Unit 500 and 650, Unit 500 and 650, and T140 750 twins.
