AFM PRE UNIT SUMP FILTER GASKET PAIR
This pair of sump plate gaskets are far superior to anything else currently available. They have an Aluminum core which will not squeeze out as any gasket made of fiber can.
DO NOT USE ANY SEALANT ON AFM GASKETS
These are aluminum core with a nitrile rubber bonded to both sides. This AFM gasket material has excellent temperature resistance, torque retention, and compression.
No sealant of any type is needed, and due to the high rate of recovery when disassembled, in most cases the gaskets can be reused.
There will be no pink, green, or blue gasket material hanging over the edge of your sump plate.There will be no drama or discussion about which sealant to use and how to apply it. Finally a modern gasket for the vintage Triumph!
These gaskets were proudly manufactured in the USA, with materials from the USA by Cleveland Gasket®and have been produced with the highest quality materials and technology currently available.
These Pre Unit sump gaskets replace Triumph part # 70-0487 or E0487, and are .048″ thick.
Please use sealant on the case threads for a leak free seal
