Description

Most Triumph twins use a solid copper head gasket to seal the combustion chamber. The success of your head gasket sealing is based on preparation, installation technique, and the quality of the gasket itself. Copper gaskets should be soft when installed, and gaskets that are hard or not pliable may be annealed to bring back to a soft state.

Pushrod tube rubbers installed with too much crush can often be the source of head gasket leaks and failure. Using care during assembly can help insure success.

Most of our copper gaskets are made in England, and we recommend the use of Hylomar spray to assist with sealing. All of our gaskets are shipped flat.
