Description
Our range of PTFE hexagon head bolts are manufactured from 100% PTFE, these are not to be confused with coated stainless-steel bolts.
PTFE or ‘Teflon’ exhibits exceptional self-lubrication characteristics as well as high temperature resistance and exceptional chemical resistance. It can be used in a wide range of applications and industries.
Our Hexagon Head bolts have a standard hexagonal drive type for use with a spanner or socket (dimensions are stated in the table above).
We only supply the highest-quality fasteners and our hexagonal head bolts are no different. These are manufactured to the highest quality standard and to very tight tolerances. Each screw is individually checked with metrology equipment dimensionally and visually for any material defects.

What are PTFE Hexagon Bolts?
PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene. It is a high-performance material that is known for its chemical resistance, low friction, and high temperature resistance. It is often used in applications where these properties are desirable, such as in the construction of seals, gaskets, and bearings.
Hexagon bolts are a type of fastener that consists of a bolt with a hexagonal head and a threaded shaft. They are used in a variety of applications where a strong, secure connection is needed. The hexagonal head allows for easy tightening and loosening using a hexagonal wrench or Allen key.
PTFE hexagon bolts are bolts made of PTFE material with a hexagonal head. They are used in a variety of applications where the combination of the chemical resistance, low friction, and high temperature resistance of PTFE with the convenience of a hexagon bolt is desirable. They are typically used in applications where these properties are necessary, such as in the construction of seals, gaskets, and bearings.
