Description
PPS (Polyphenylene Sulphide) Hexagon Nuts are an absolute necessity if a predefined tapped hole within your component is not available. This ensures that the complete fastener material array is compiled with the necessary characteristics to ensure effective operation without failure or compromise.
Our PPS Hexagon Nuts are complaint to DIN 934 specification. We advise that our hexagon nuts are paired with PPS Flat Washers to ensure no damage occurs to the fastener or the component when torquing to specification.
Why use PPS?
Our PPS range are reinforced with 40% glass fibre, this enables tensile strengths that are similar to our PEEK GF30 (30% glass-fibre reinforced) range, however with a much larger range of sizes and with reduced cost.
PPS has characteristics that are positioned perfectly between our RENY and PEEK range.
