Description
Piston rings have a hard enough time without getting beat up during installation. If you have a 2 or 3 piece oil ring you MUST use ring compressors to prevent damage to the ring. It also makes putting your cylinder on easier and almost effortless.
Don’t break a ring during installation! Most rings are only sold in sets!
For 650 Triumph twins use the 70-75mm ring compressors.
For 750 Triumph twins and big bore kits use the 75-80mm ring compressors.
For unit 500 pistons use 65-70mm ring compressors.
For Pre Unit 500 use 60-65mm ring compressors.
60mm – 65mm = 2.36″ – 2.55″
65mm – 70mm = 2.55″ – 2.75″
70mm – 75mm = 2.75″ – 2.95″
75mm – 80mm = 2.95″ – 3.14″
