Description
At HPP we have a range of PEEK Low Hexagon Head screws available.
The standard drive-type available for these screws is 6 point hexagonal drive through the use of a hex key (the drive sizes can be found on the dimensions table).
Our PEEK low socket head screws are often used within vacuum systems due to the low out-gassing characteristics associated with PEEK. When blind holes occur within a vacuum they can trap air which results in difficulty reaching the specified vacuum. HPP offer modification to low socket head and all our fasteners to provide venting for use within vacuum systems. Contact us for more information.
Low socket head screws are a great alternative to socket head screws when a hexagon socket head style screw is necessary, but space is limited.
What are PEEK Low Hexagon Socket Head Screws?
PEEK (polyetheretherketone) is a high-performance polymer that is resistant to high temperatures, chemicals, and wear. It is often used in demanding applications where traditional materials like metal or plastic may not be suitable.
Low hexagon socket head screws are screws with a hexagonal head and a socket drive, which is a type of fastener that is tightened and loosened using a hexagonal wrench or Allen key. These screws are designed to be low profile, meaning that the head of the screw sits flush with or slightly below the surface of the material it is fastened to.
PEEK low hexagon socket head screws are screws made of PEEK material with a low hexagonal head and a socket drive. They are used in a variety of applications where the combination of the strength and chemical resistance of PEEK with the convenience of a socket drive is desirable. They are typically used in high-performance and demanding applications where traditional materials may not be suitable.
